Merry Christmas! We had a great Christmas. One of the first things we tried to do was come up with a cool Christmas card. Since none of the pictures that you see here ended up being "the" card, we thought we would show you the runners up. We went to a hat store in Jack London Square and took these pictures. We hoped that one of them would ge "the" card. No such luck!
			Christmas was new for Emma too. This time she caught on to the whole event! After a few tentative attempts to open her gifts it was "damn the torpedoes!" . The shredfest lasted for a good half hour. After that all that was left to do was to play with the mountain of gifts that she got. Thanks to one and all from all of us. Another new tradition that Emma got to enjoy was decorating the cookies! She had a great time doing that too. some of the cookies looked a little like they should be served at the famous Madonna Inn in Southern California. Those of you who don't know about the Madonna Inn should look it up on the internet .
				Mimi and Dave came to visit but for some reason we don't have any pictures of them.Brooks sister and family came to visit too. All the girls got along just fine! The weather ended up being very nice so a lot of time was spent outdoors..In January, Brook and Emma and I went to Vale to ski. Brook took Emma on the slopes for her first time on Skies. I was busy skiing up on the mountain. Again, other than this picture of Emma in her snow suit we took almost no pictures.
