The High Mountain Lodge. The place where it all happened. Lunch at the summer farm. Serving the famous porridge. An after lunch photo with the farm owner in the forground.

The Besseggen is probably the most famous hike in Norway. The lower pictures as well as the header are all from this hike. The thing that makes it famous is the two different colored lakes that are side by side (400 verticle meters apart). The picture on the right shows the difference. The hike is about 12 miles but includes a very sharp 500 meter climb at the beginning. It should take about 6 hours to hike it.
