Our New Life on San Juan Island in Washington

Wow! Look what WE bought!
Talk about lucky! We got here in late March 2003, we will close on this house before the end of May. What can we say, we started looking at houses to get a feel for the market and see what our money would get us here. We looked at about 6 houses and started to get a sense of things. Then we walked into this one. Well, by the next day we had an offer in and within 3 days we had it under contract.

What a great spot, right on Mitchell bay near Roche Harbor at the North end of the island.

We had a party with some new friends from the island.

A quick trip to Vancouver BC
We went to visit more new friends (and distant relatives) in BC over Easter. We had a great time with Kirstin and Dave and hope that they will visit us soon.

The best part of the trip for Emma & Eli was the trip to visit the firestation where Dave works.
